In order to continue to excel in education, research and conservation efforts, Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) is seeking partners to collaborate with GAIAS. USFQ will provide the land and physical facilities, and will manage the institute under the guidance of an advisory board in which the founding universities will participate.
USFQ and partner institutions offer scholarships to local Galapagos students in order to enhance their educational level. These include:
World Wildlife Fund (WWF), National Association of Galapagos Tourism Operators (ASOGAL) and the International Galapagos Tour Operators Association (IGTOA).
If you would like to become an affiliate institution or have any questions regarding the membership, please contact Diego Quiroga, Vice-president of Student Affairs and Co-Director of GAIAS dquiroga@usfq.edu.ec
