INCOMING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AT USFQ (OPI)

The signed exchange agreements with universidtes of various countries allow for students to come as part of the international student program to enrich the cultural lives of USFQ’s campus. The Office of International Programs (OPI la Oficina de los Programas Internacionales) facilitates all of the documents and requirements necessary to obtain a student visa “12-VIII” (Cultural Exchange / Intercambio Cultural), to be able to study in Ecuador

The international students have the same advantages and responsibilites as the Ecuatorian students. Refer to the USFQ’s Code of Honor for further questions.

The students that are interestind in applying to USFQ through the Office of International Programs (OPI) should complete the Application for International Students "Solicitud Para Estudiantes de Intercambio", and attach the specified docuements. It should be sent to the OPI within the time frame in order to process all of the legal documents necessary for the visa 12-VII.

Once accepted, the students will be required to attend a mandatory orientation, given to all international students, which is held prior to the beginning of each new semester.
