ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT QUESTIONS

Who to contact when you have a question.

Academic questions (questions about content, prerequisites, syllabus, availability, etc.) should be addressed directly to the program Coordinator (see list of academic authorities below).  95% of them speak English, but we recommend that you write in Spanish (maybe put the English translation below the Spanish, just to be clear). 

Technical questions about registering may be directed to the Registrar's Office or Juan Francisco in the Office of International Programs.

When emailing a question, please copy the following people:  The dean of the college and maria@mail.usfq.edu.ec

Telephone numbers have a "297" preceding them, they are direct lines that can be dialed from off campus.  4-digit extensions without "297" may or may not be dialed from off-campus.  Try the 297 and if it doesn't work, call the operator at 297-1705/6 and ask for the extension.

In addition to this website, you can also get answers to your questions on the official USFQ web page and the USFQ Registrar's office for specific courses. In the Registrar's page click on the "consulta" for the semester you're interested in (for example, "consulta de cursos segundo semestre 07-08"). Then click on the College you're interested in checking and on "haga la consulta" to see the schedules for that College. Please keep in mind that the same courses are not always offered every semester.
