TITLE
The College of Science and Engineering offers the following degrees:
1. Diploma in Engineering.
2. Diploma in the Sciences.
3. Engineer, in all of the specializations in engineering (five years).
Degree: Diploma in Engineering and Sciences
To receive a degree in Engineering or Sciences, the student needs to complete the following general requirements related to their chosen specialization:
• To have completed the prerequisites for graduation applicable to all USFQ students.
A. To have completed the minimum number of credits determined by the program of specialization, of which 43 credits are in the General College and 12 credits in Electives.
B. The specialization courses need to be approved with a minimum C grade
C. To have completed 100 hours of cultural and communityservice (PASECC)
D. To have completed an internship for at least two months.
E. To have attended and completed at least 40 conferences organized by the College of Sciences and Engineering.
Degree: Engineer
To receive a degree in engineering the students needs to complete the following requirements:
A. To have completed the prerequisites for graduation applicable to all USFQ students.
B. To have completed the requirements to receive a degree in Engineering.
C. To have completed a minimum of 30 credits in 500 level classes or the equivalent, additional to the requirements of Engineering, or the number of additional credits determined in the program of the students specialization to receive the degree in Engineering with a minimum grade of C.
D. To have completed and defended the final Project with a minimum grade of B for which the student will receive additional credits.
E. To have completed the final Project with a minimum grade of B.
