Edison Iván Cevallos Miranda

Ivan Cevallos-Miranda is a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery and a Specialist in General Surgery from the Central University of Ecuador. He has a master’s degree in Management of Health Institutions, a Higher Diploma in Bioethics from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (Argentina). He is Dean of the School of Medical Specialties of San Francisco de Quito University (Ecuador). He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and various scientific societies of Ecuador. His professional experience includes having worked as director, teacher, and manager of the General Health Service at the Carlos Andrade Marín Hospital (Ecuador). He has been linked to the teaching for 47 years. He has several publications and three published texts related to surgery. His areas of interest refer to bioethics, the practice of medical training and the quality of documents in accordance with the medical record.
