Professional Profile

María Gabriela Pérez Andrade studied Graphic Design at the University of San Francisco de Quito (USFQ, Ecuador) and specialized in Business Administration at Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and IDE Business School (Ecuador). She is the Coordinator of the Interactive Media Design program at USFQ, an area related to the development of interactive experiences such as video games, installations, mobile applications, and web platforms. She teaches courses in Graphic Interface Design, User Experience, Design Research, and Digital Business. She is involved in two creative production projects: "Esfera de Luz," which involves creating an immersive-interactive space promoting personal relaxation, and "Interactive Media VR," a simulation of physical experiences in virtual reality. As part of her community engagement work, she published "Historias de El Edén," an interactive experience based on the myths and legends of the Yasuní Biosphere Reserve.
