Michelle Amanda Grunauer Andrade

Michelle Grunauer is a Critical Care Physician and Pulmonologist with a Master's degree in Mental Health and a PhD in Critical Care Medicine. Her academic journey included studies at Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil) and the University of Birmingham (UK). She currently holds the position of Associate Dean of the One Health Research and Outreach Office at the College of Health Sciences at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). Dr. Grunauer is a former Vice Dean and Dean of the School of Medicine. She directs Jhpiego's office in Ecuador and works globally as Principal Technical Advisor on Medical Oxygen/Critical Care. Dr. Grunauer is a professor by courtesy at Johns Hopkins University (USA) and an adjunct professor at Hofstra/Northwell (USA).
