Professional Profile
Pablo H. Dávalos M., Ph.D., obtained his doctoral degree in Architecture from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain). Currently serving as the Vice Dean of the College of Architecture and Interior Design and Coordinator of the Architecture Degree at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), Dr. Dávalos M. is a full-time teacher, focusing on design workshops. Informed by his research during doctoral studies, he published the book "Ciudad Brutalista, Quito 1960-1980," analyzing the implementation of the international brutalist architectural movement in the city. In his private professional practice, he has designed and realized buildings in various categories, receiving recognition in the local environment through publications specialized in Ecuadorian architecture.
