Dance - Performing Arts

College of Communication and Contemporary Arts
Minor description

The Dance subspecialization is open to all USFQ students and introduces the student to the body practices of a dancer, a practice that includes technical, creative, improvisational, and compositional work in dance, as well as an understanding of contemporary concepts that guide the current thought of this art. The courses offered always include a personal and group creation component with open presentations in different conventional and unconventional spaces to complete the students' interpretive experience. The minor culminates in a creative investigation of its own, produced entirely by the student.
