The USFQ MBA forms managers with a broad vision of their function; creative, innovative and entrepreneurial professionals who are free and fearless, able to take the leap towards founding their own businesses or towards professional growth in high-level regional positions in large multinational corporations.

Applicant’s profile:

Applicants must demonstrate full-time professional experience in administration and/or business during three years after having completed undergraduate studies; demonstrate experience in coordinating work teams of at least five persons during at least one full year; and be employed when applying to the program.

In addition, they must hold an undergraduate college degree in any field of knowledge duly registered with SENESCYT, pass the USFQ entrance exam, and complete the program’s admission process.

Occupational opportunities

A graduate of the USFQ MBA program possesses the managerial skills necessary for successful performance in large multinationals, in Ecuador or abroad, in large Ecuadorean corporations, family businesses or their own businesses.

  • Possibility of obtaining a second Master’s degree in International Leadership from EADA.


Basic requirements:

  • Hold an undergraduate college degree in any field issued by a university that is accredited in Ecuador, that is registered with SENESCYT.
  • Copy of Ecuadorean ID or Passport.

Specific requirements for the program:

  • Demonstrate 3 years’ full-time professional experience in management and/or business after having completed undergraduate studies; this requirement guarantees that candidates will enter the Master’s program with a minimum portfolio of management abilities that will be improved upon during the program.
  • Demonstrate experience coordinating work teams of at least five members during one whole year.

Financial aid and scholarships

Payment per module: Consists of dividing the entire tuition for the MBA in six equal installments payable thirty days prior to the start of each of the six program modules, approximately in July, November, April, July, November, April. Payment can be made with credit cards, bank transfers or directly at the Treasury. .


  • Scholarships for MBA graduate referrals: 20% of total tuition for candidates to the program who have been referred by graduates of the USFQ MBA program. Five of these scholarships will be awarded each year.
  • USFQ Alumni Scholarships: 10% of total tuition for candidates to the program who obtained their undergraduate degrees at USFQ. Five of these scholarships will be awarded each year.
  • Scholarships for excellent performance at other universities: 20% of total tuition for candidates to the program who have graduated from any university with a global GPA of 3.70/4.00 or higher. Five of these scholarships will be awarded each year.
