ABOUT USFQ
USFQ represents 35 years of dedicated commitment to Liberal Arts, a journey marked by achievements and a profound transformation of Ecuador's educational landscape. This remarkable journey of 35 years symbolizes a testament to the unwavering determination of our Council of Regents and our vibrant community.
Our historical voyage commenced on September 1st, 1988, catalyzed by the visionary leadership of Santiago Gangotena and Carlos Montúfar. In its early days, USFQ welcomed 126 enthusiastic students and a devoted faculty of 12 professors. Today, our community of USFQ Dragons has blossomed to include:
56 graduating classes.
A network of over 30,000 alumni.
More than 10,000 enrolled students.
A distinguished faculty of 800+ professors.
A dedicated administrative team of 500 professionals..
