Over four specialized modules, participants will explore best practices in security within the supply chain, including aspects such as transportation security, warehouse security, and distribution centers. Additionally, topics such as cybersecurity and the application of emerging technologies to enhance operational security will be addressed, closely related to the implementation of ISO 28001 standards.
With a practical approach based on case studies, participants will develop skills to identify and mitigate risks, plan business continuity, and promote a culture of security within their organizations. Upon completion of the course, they will be prepared to implement effective security measures to protect the supply chain and ensure the success of logistical operations.

General Description
General Objective:
To provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage security in the stages of the supply chain. Additionally, to promote awareness of the importance of security in the supply chain and to prepare participants to face current challenges in this field.

To enroll in the diploma, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Have basic knowledge in logistics and supply chain.
- Having work experience in logistics or security will be valued but is not a mandatory requirement.
- Demonstrate interest and commitment to supply chain security.
Modality
Total duration of the course is 120 academic hours spread over 13 weeks.
- 80 hours in real-time virtual mode with the professor via Zoom.
- 40 hours of autonomous student work activities.
The teaching methodology of the course is based on the flexible Blended learning model and project-based learning. The professor will conduct live sessions with students, encouraging active participation with questions and comments. The more frequent these interventions are, the richer the collective learning will be. Sessions will focus on specific topics or case studies, aiming to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the theory and its relevance to the current industry context.
In addition to this, all participants will undertake 40 hours of autonomous learning on the E-Learning USFQ platform, where they will find materials provided by the professor. They will watch videos, read short articles, participate in forums, or engage in brief discussions on various topics covered in the course.

Certificate Issuance
Approval Certificate
Parameters for issuing the approval certificate:
Participants must achieve a minimum grade of 80% at the end of the course to obtain their approval diploma and meet a minimum of 80% attendance for the entire program.
Upon successful completion of the program, Universidad San Francisco de Quito will grant a certificate of approval for the number of academic hours completed.
If the participant does not pass the program, Universidad San Francisco de Quito will be unable to issue the certificate.
