Networks
The Universidad San Francisco de Quito seeks to collaborate in international networks focused on developing expertise among academics and administrators, as well as innovating the academic curriculum for students.
We also aim to enhance international understanding, centered around the economy, politics, society, environment, and intercultural aspects of global challenges.
All these network initiatives are shared with students and faculty through USFQ’s internal channels as soon as their calls for participation open.
GLAA

The Global Liberal Arts Alliance (GLAA) is an association dedicated to strengthening Liberal Arts education worldwide. The network's strength lies in sharing knowledge and experiences among institutions to educate our students and empower them to become leaders in an increasingly globalized world.
Some of its members include: Hope College (USA), American College of Greece, DePauw University (USA), American University in Cairo, Effat University (Saudi Arabia), FLAME University (India), International University of Grand-Bassam (Ivory Coast), Kalamazoo College (USA), Lingnan University (Hong Kong),** among others.
Annual Programs:
- Online International Collaboration, for academics looking to enhance and internationalize their course curricula.
- Digital Tools Workshop for Liberal Arts (OHLA).
- Grants to support Liberal Arts initiatives.
- Leadership and democracy programs for students.
- Conferences and collaborations for academics and students.
APRU

The Association of Pacific Rim Universities, known by its English acronym APRU, is a network of leading research universities that seek to promote education and public policy on issues that generate viable solutions for sustainable development. Its members come from 17 economies across the Pacific region.
Some of its members include: the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) - USA, the University of Oregon - USA, the University of British Columbia (UBC) - Canada, Tecnológico de Monterrey - Mexico, the University of Chile, the Australian National University, the National University of Taiwan, the University of Indonesia, Osaka University - Japan, Far Eastern Federal University - Russia, Chulalongkorn University - Thailand, The University of Hong Kong - China, among others.
Annual Programs:
- Conferences aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals initiatives.
- Leadership programs for students.
- APEC Advisory Council.
HUC

The Hemispheric University Consortium, known by its English acronym HUC, is an alliance promoted by the University of Miami across the Americas, aiming to discover and share knowledge focused on regional challenges. The network specializes in fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and promoting social initiatives.
Some of its members include: the University of Miami - USA, the University of São Paulo - Brazil, the University of the Andes - Colombia, the University of Costa Rica, Cayetano Heredia University - Peru, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and the University of the West Indies.
Annual Programs:
- Marine Biology Course (ENG).
- HUC Technology Transfer Network, which aims to create an innovation network from Latin American universities to capital markets.
- Innovation Observatory, a network where participating universities share laboratories and resources.
- Conferences and collaborations focused on technology and financial markets.
