Alejandra Larrea holds a degree in Liberal Arts and Multimedia Journalism from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, and a diploma in acting from the Escuela Internacional de Teatro, Creación y Movimiento Imaginoteatro, based on the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq. Currently, she works as a Junior Editor at USFQ PRESS and has been an intern at WCS and WWF, focusing on environmental conservation issues. Her interests span environmental humanities, literature, documentary film, poetry, environmental conservation, and physical theater, with a focus on Lecoq’s methodology to explore the relationship between performing art, body movement, writing, and nature.
Academic interests: Her interests include the humanities, especially literature and poetry, and environmental humanities. She is also interested in film, theatre, environmental communication, conservation, as well as audiovisual and literary editing.
