In this context, and due to the growing development in the field of artificial intelligence, graphic designers will be able to find tools to streamline their work, optimizing resources in their projects. Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing graphic design, with the potential to create more personalized, attractive, and efficient designs.

General Description
General Objective:
Introduce professionals from different communication areas to the generation and manipulation of visual content through generative Artificial Intelligence tools, both online and Midjourney, Firefly, and Adobe Express, as well as native software like Illustrator and Photoshop.
Develop skills and abilities in the use of digital platforms that provide generative AI and development of communication pieces.
Train participants in workflows that integrate AI tools, digital manipulation, and effective project completion.

Target Audience:
The course is aimed at professionals in graphic design, advertising, marketing, communication, and content creators, who wish to strategically employ Generative Artificial Intelligence to optimize their creative processes and gain a competitive advantage in the job market.
The program is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to:
- Generate creative ideas quickly and efficiently.
- Explore new design possibilities.
- Personalize designs to meet individual needs.
- Optimize design processes.
- Create graphic material for advertising pieces and campaigns.
- Create creative content for social media.
*Preference is given but not mandatory, for candidates to have a background in graphic design or advertising in any of its disciplines.
*Requirements: Basic knowledge of design software, such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Access to the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (2023-2024) is required, a subscription (paid) is required to activate AI options, although a 7-day free trial is available.
Basic subscription to Midjourney (paid), to fully benefit from the course, access is required, the free trial is no longer available.
Professionals who complete the program will be able to:
- Maximize the possibilities of Generative AI to create more personalized, attractive, and efficient designs.
- Properly use image generation platforms through AI to make the most of this technology.
- Generate images and content using appropriate and personalized texts (prompts).
- Complete effective design projects, integrating AI tools into the process.

Mode of Delivery
Total course duration is 27 academic hours spread over 4 weeks.

The teaching methodology of the course is based on the flexible Blended learning model and project-based learning. The instructor will conduct real-time sessions with the students, encouraging them to intervene with their doubts and comments. The more frequent these interventions are, the richer the collective learning will be. Sessions will focus on particular topics or specific case studies, aiming to provide the student with a comprehensive understanding of the theory as well as its relationship with the current industry context.
In addition to this, all participants will engage in 3 hours of autonomous learning on the E-Learning USFQ platform, where they will find materials provided by the instructor. They will watch videos, read short articles, participate in forums, or have brief discussions on various topics covered in the course.

Certificate Issuance
Certificate of Completion
Parameters for issuing the certificate of completion:
The participant must achieve a minimum grade of 80% at the end of the course to obtain their completion diploma and fulfill a minimum of 80% attendance of the total program.
Upon successful completion of the program, the Universidad San Francisco de Quito will issue a certificate of completion for the number of academic hours completed.
If the participant does not pass the program, the Universidad San Francisco de Quito will not be able to issue the certificate to the participant.
