Glenn Laverack
Glenn Laverack is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and the College of Health Sciences at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU).
Dr. Laverack is an international leader in health promotion and empowerment with a distinguished 35-year career as an academic and independent consultant to the United Nations, government agencies, and international development agencies in 50 countries. Previously, he worked as Coordinator (Empowerment) for Neglected Tropical Diseases at the World Health Organization in Geneva and as a researcher at Flinders University, Australia. Dr. Laverack has worked as a manager on several large-scale projects in different countries and has a wide range of publications, including 25 books in 12 languages.
