Jennifer A. Frontera, MD, FNCS is Chief and Professor of Neurology at NYU Langone Brooklyn. She is Vice Chair of NYU Langone’s Department of Neurology. After receiving her medical degree at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, she completed neurology residency, as well as stroke and neurocritical care fellowships at Columbia University. She is dual boarded in neurocritical care and stroke and has served as an attending at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she established the Neurocritical care program there.
Thereafter she was an Associate Professor of Medicine (Neurology) at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Frontera has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, serves on the board of directors of the Neurocritical Care Society and is the author of Decision Making in Neurocritical Care. Her research has focused on early brain injury after subarachnoid hemorrhage and functional outcomes following intracranial hemorrhage.
