An applicant to the Nutrition and Dietetics program must demonstrate:
- Vocation for service
- Analytical abilities
- Proactive attitude
- Social responsibility
- Professional ethics
The program affords special importance to the stewardship of eating habits throughout a person’s life, thus faculty members teach students how to manage nutrition at different stages of the human life cycle. Students of the Nutrition program therefore achieve the skills necessary to guarantee individual development that is integral, specially for vulnerable groups such as children and women. Building on courses taught during the program, students are capable of providing nutritional attention to individuals and populations at different stages of their life cycle in both a clinical setting and a community environment.
If you are an excellent student remember you have the option of applying for a scholarship at our College of Health Sciences.
