Publishing house of the University of San Francisco de Quito

We are the official publishing house representing the University of San Francisco de Quito (USFQ). Our primary goal is to advance the university's mission by sharing knowledge, fostering education, conducting research, and serving the community, all guided by the principles of Liberal Arts.

At USFQ PRESS, we serve as the official publishing arm of the University of San Francisco de Quito (USFQ). Our core mission revolves around the propagation of knowledge, education, research, and community service, all guided by the principles of Liberal Arts.

The genesis of USFQ PRESS can be traced back to an ambitious initiative to consolidate an editorial project dedicated to publishing exceptional, unpublished works. This endeavor seeks to not only advance scientific dissemination but also enrich the cultural tapestry of our community. Through the medium of books, journals, and specialized series, our publishing house aims to foster academic and cultural discourse among the diverse realms of knowledge within the university, which are, in turn, intimately connected to various facets of our local and global realities.

Our primary objective is to curate a coherent and innovative catalog, featuring works that epitomize the values championed by the university: liberty, aesthetics, ethics, and truth. Our ultimate aim is to transcend the boundaries of traditional university publications and expand the reach of knowledge dissemination, thereby enriching critical thinking and celebrating the myriad forms and expressions of academic and cultural life.
