Intellectual Property Protection: The Intellectual Property and Tech Transfer Office is tasked with identifying inventions, discoveries, software, digital assets, materials, formulas, designs, and creative works that can be protected by patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and other intellectual property mechanisms.

Commercialization Assessment: Once an intellectual property asset has been identified, its commercial potential is assessed. This may involve reviewing the technology in terms of its market potential, degree of innovation, and its ability to generate revenue.

Licensing Agreement Negotiation: The Intellectual Property and Tech Transfer Office handles the negotiation and management of licensing agreements for the university's intellectual property. This can include negotiating license terms, drafting contracts, and managing license payments.

Promotion and Marketing of Intellectual Property: The Intellectual Property and Tech Transfer Office is responsible for promoting the university's intellectual property and seeking commercialization opportunities through conferences, fairs, and other events.
