Amada Pérez Traba holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the Universidad de León (Spain) and a Master of Science in Biodiversity in Tropical Areas and Conservation from the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (Spain). She also holds a diploma in Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom) and a PM4R Expert Certificate, in Development Project Management from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She currently serves as the Coordinator of External Funds and Research Support Office at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). Amada Pérez Traba has experience in the field of Animal Epidemiology through her work at the Norwegian Veterinary Institute (Norway), where she was involved in an international project under the Marie Curie Actions framework, a flagship program of the European Union for doctoral education and postdoctoral training.
