Juan Carlos Prado Rodríguez

Juan Carlos Prado holds a Law Degree and a Master’s Degree in European Private Law from the Università di Roma Sapienza (Italy). He also earned a Master’s Degree and a PhD in Roman Legal System and Unification of Law at the Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata (Italy). Additionally, he completed a Post-Doctorate at the Department of Private Law of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain). Currently, he serves as a lecturer at the School of Jurisprudence of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). His research interests primarily focus on Roman Private Law and Civil Law, and he has conducted research stays in Europe. Furthermore, he is the author of numerous scientific articles published in prestigious international legal journals. His teaching experience includes positions at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain) and as a visiting professor at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (Italy), Università degli Studi di Perugia (Italy), Universidad de Sevilla (Spain) and Universidad de Granada (Spain).
