Karina Cazar is assistant professor of architectural design at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. She holds an MS in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, an MA in Collective Housing from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and a BA in Architecture from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. She is also the founding principal of Arkc Studio. Her architectural practice carries out architectural, industrial and retail design as well as construction. Her research delves into theories of typology, housing and the use of drawing as a tool for architectural exploration.
