Farith Simon

Farith Simon is the Dean of the College of Jurisprudence at the University of San Francisco de Quito, with a distinguished academic background including a Doctorate in New Trends in Private Law from the University of Salamanca and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. He is an expert in Legal Theory, Family Law, Rights of Children and Adolescents, and Human Rights, and has been recognized for his social and academic contributions.

Ximena Garzón

Ximena Garzón Villalba is the Dean of the School of Public Health and Nutrition at the University of San Francisco de Quito. She holds a Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the Central University of Ecuador and a PhD in Public Health from the University of South Florida, specializing in Occupational Health and Occupational Epidemiology. She served as Minister of Public Health of Ecuador, leading important public health initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her research focuses on occupational heat stress and heat stress.

Edison Iván Cevallos Miranda

Iván Cevallos

Iván Cevallos is the Dean of the School of Medical Specialties at the University of San Francisco de Quito, with a focus on Bioethics, medical education, and quality of clinical documents. He has extensive experience in general surgery, hospital management, and has been involved in teaching for 47 years. He is the author of various publications and texts related to surgery.

Mauricio Maldonado

Mauricio Maldonado is a professor at the College of Jurisprudence of the University of San Francisco de Quito, with a doctorate in Philosophy of Law from the Università di Genova, Italy. He has conducted research at the Université Paris-Nanterre and The University of Chicago. His interests include legal philosophy, legal argumentation, and constitutional law. He has been recognized with several academic awards and is the author of various publications in the field of law.

Viviane Monteiro Santana García

Viviane Monteiro

Viviane Monteiro is a professor at the College of Jurisprudence of the University of San Francisco de Quito, specializing in human rights and mental health, security measures and dangerousness, gender violence, human rights and prisons, as well as bioethics and medical responsibility. She has a solid academic background, including a doctorate in Criminology from the University of Granada, Spain, and stands out for her commitment to excellence in teaching from a human rights perspective.

Ana María Díaz Medina

Ana María Díaz Medina

Ana María Diaz is a prominent Colombian lawyer with a deep specialization in Human Rights, Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and Humanitarian Law. A graduate of the Universidad de los Andes and with a specialization from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, she has held significant roles as Coordinator of the DESC Team in the Office in Colombia of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, in addition to working as a consultant and at the Colombian Commission of Jurists. Her career reflects a strong commitment to women's rights, the protection of children's rights, and education in human rights and international humanitarian law.
