María Dolores Lasso Jijón

Maria Dolores Lasso obtained her PhD from New Mexico State University. She holds a Master in Education degree from Boston University and completed her undergraduate studies in Elementary Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. As the Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Academic Affairs at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ), Maria Dolores is responsible for the academic operations of all undergraduate programs. Her role involves continuous improvement, institutional curriculum design strategies, and optimization of academic processes to ensure the best possible educational experiences for all USFQ students. With over two decades of teaching experience, Maria Dolores currently teaches Education courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs.
