Professional Profile

Mónica Rojas is an Economist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. She holds a Master's degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain) and a Master's degree in International Relations with a focus on International Economics from the Andean University Simón Bolívar (Ecuador). She is the Dean of the School of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics of the University San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), where she is also a full-time professor. Previously, she served as the Coordinator of the Economics Program. She teaches courses in Introduction to Economics, Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, International Economics, and Empirical Economics. She has conducted research and consulting work for the public sector, the private sector, and international organizations. She has experience in foreign trade, trade policies, and macroeconomics.
