La Orientación es un evento realizado por el Decanato de Estudiantes que se llevará a cabo desde el martes 12 de agosto, 2025 al viernes 15 de agosto, 2025. Para el evento, se invitará a los estudiantes nuevos a pasar un día de la semana de Orientación en el campus principal de la USFQ. La participación del evento de Orientación es completamente voluntaria, pero es altamente recomendado que los estudiantes participen para que puedan conocer el campus y relacionarse con sus nuevos compañeros. Welcome Dragons!

Orientation is an event organized by the Dean of Students Office that will take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 to Friday, August 15, 2025.

For the event, new students will be invited to spend one day of Orientation week at the USFQ main campus.

Participation in the Orientation event is entirely voluntary, but it is highly recommended that students take part so they can familiarize themselves with the campus and connect with their new peers.

All information with the details of the day and the campus visit schedule, as well as information on accessing virtual sessions, will be sent to your institutional email.

FAQs

All information related to your orientation is sent to your institutional and personal email three or four weeks before the start of classes. It is essential to configure your USFQ account as soon as possible to receive all the details of your orientation.

There is no penalty if you cannot attend your orientation. Orientation is an event designed to familiarize students with USFQ and help them make the most of their experience.

LEOs are Student Leaders of Orientation who are USFQ students and will accompany you throughout the various orientation activities, promoting interaction in your University House.

Support Network

Code of Honor and Coexistence

Students must exercise caution regarding plagiarism, improper collaboration, and any acts of academic dishonesty. Additionally, it is their responsibility to review the rules of behavior for university coexistence.

Ombudsman's Office

Academic Counseling

Psychological Counseling

It offers a first line of free emotional support exclusively for active USFQ students. The Psychological Counseling Office handles specific emotional problems and discomforts, as well as providing tools for stress management, anxiety, frustration, among others, but it does not function as a psychological therapy process.

Office of Special Educational Needs

USFQ offers support to students with special educational needs of a physical, visual, auditory, intellectual nature, or any condition that affects the learning process. This support includes the removal of physical, attitudinal, social, and communication barriers, academic monitoring, the development, and execution of accommodations, psychological counseling, and workshops for the university community.
