The USFQ CAM operates across 3 dimensions:
- Academic
- Supports the professional growth of students interested in the field of conflict resolution through Legal Clinics.
- Offers the opportunity for clinical students to undertake internships, which fulfill the PASEM requirement.
- Regularly conducts the Mediator Training course.
- Provides real case observations, a requirement for completing mediation training at any institution with appropriate academic endorsement.
- Social
- The USFQ Mediation Center supports the Legal Clinics by receiving derived cases, thus relieving judicial burdens and providing users with a quality, cost-free service.
- Business
- The legal service offered is swift, flexible, reliable, and accessible.
- We offer in-person, virtual, and hybrid modes.
- Currently holds a score of 99/100 from the Society Engagement Projects office.
We are a constituted Center for Arbitration and Mediation with a mission to assist individuals in building constructive and transformative agreements that endure over time. This promotes a culture of peace in line with the spirit of liberal arts, the hallmark of USFQ.
