Professional Profile

Santiago Basabe-Serrano's main lines of research are related to the comparative study of democratic institutions in Latin America (presidentialism, executive-legislative relations and judicial policies). In addition, he has a research program on different aspects of corruption (at regional, national and subnational levels) and another related to the methodology of scientific research in the Social Sciences.
