Cristina Muñoz is MA in Interaction Design Research at Goldsmiths University of London (United Kingdom) and MA in Research for Design and Innovation at Elisava Escuela Universitaria de Diseño e Ingeniería de Barcelona (Spain). Additionally, she has a BA in Packaging Design from Universidad de Palermo (Argentina). Cristina is director at D.Lab from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), researcher and professor in the career of Communication Design at the College of Communication and Contemporary Arts. She integrates design across disciplines to propose alternatives related to sustainable futures. Her research focuses on designing systems and products with raw materials coming from domestic and industrial waste. She has experience in the areas of biomaterials, digital fabrication interaction design, service design, design thinking and project management.
