Micaela Jiménez Borja has a Ph.D. in Counselling from the University of Strathclyde (United Kingdom) and a master’s degree in Health Psychology and Clinical Practice from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Spain). She is a professor of Psychology at the College of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). Specializing in psychotherapy, Micaela conducts research on processes and effectiveness in psychotherapy, development and validation of psychotherapeutic instruments, and mental health studies.
