Patricio Chiriboga

Patricio Chiriboga, a Mechanical Engineer with a Ph.D. in Vibrations from the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at Technische Universiteit Delft (Netherlands), is a professor-researcher at the University San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). His research spans biomechanics, acoustics, musical production, art, mechanical design, and automotive engineering. Dr. Chiriboga leads a community engagement project, guiding a team of students in the design and construction of prosthetics, orthotics, and assistance devices for disabled dogs. Integrating his expertise in sound and vibrations with a passion for music, he brings innovation to scientific and creative research projects, exploring areas such as cymatics, musical and architectural acoustics, instrument design, and electronic and experimental music.
