Thomas Cadenbach earned his Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany) and currently serves as the Director of the Teaching and Research Laboratory of the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). Dr. Cadenbach's research focuses on the design and synthesis of advanced materials to promote new and sustainable chemical reactivity. He is recognized as an expert in materials synthesis, applications in photocatalysis, and sustainable chemistry. Having held postdoctoral research positions at prestigious institutions worldwide, including Berkeley University of California (United States), University of Strathclyde (United Kingdom), University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom), and Escuela Politécnica Nacional (Ecuador), Dr. Cadenbach has authored more than 40 international peer-reviewed articles and received prestigious awards such as the German Academy of Sciences Scholarship (German Academy of Science, Leopoldina), the Feodor-Lynen Scholarship (Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung), and the Prometeo Scholarship (Ecuador).
