When an applicant who was at another university wishes to enter USFQ, regardless of whether or not they want to validate subjects, they must meet the following requirements:
IMPORTANT: the applicant must be familiar with the USFQ Admission regulations that establish that applications with two or three enrollments in a subject taken at another University will not be accepted.
Admissions Package
Follow the steps outlined below. Remember to carry out your process well in advance as the exam dates have limited space; You must complete this process 8 days before the date you choose to take the entrance exam.
1. CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
Log into admision.usfq.edu.ec and create your account to access the admissions application. Download your study guide to prepare for the exam.
2. COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION
Complete your application for admission, take your time to fill in all the fields. Within the application you will choose your admission exam date. Use capital letters only at the beginning of the words that need it.
*If you are a standard-bearer or are in the honor guard, you will receive a discount on your admissions process: contact the admissions department to obtain it.
3. PAY FOR YOUR PROCESS
With the completed application you can make the payment of $98 for your admissions process. This payment can be made within your application. Once the payment has been made, you will receive an email from Admissions.

4. ATTACH YOUR DOCUMENTS AND WAIT FOR YOUR CONFIRMATION
Remember to attach the required documentation so you can take the exam. After doing so, you will receive an email from admissions with the instructions to take the exam.
- Current photograph, front and foreground, in color, on a white background, 3.50 x 4.00 cm in size.
- Scanned copy of your ID card if you are Ecuadorian or of the passport if you are a foreigner.
- Scanned copy of the ID card of your financial representative if they are Ecuadorian or their passport if they are a foreigner.
- Scanned image of the high school degree and degree certificate issued by the secondary school.
In the event that the student completed their secondary education abroad, they must present the original documentation recognized by the Ministry of Education of Ecuador.
If you are transferring from another university, you must attach the completed and signed Complementary Form for Applicants who have studied at another University and an official transcript of the university or universities where you have been a student (if it is more than one, you must include it).
5. TAKE THE TEST AND WAIT FOR YOUR RESULTS

USFQ Entrance Exams
The USFQ entrance exam is assessed as follows:
Verbal Aptitude Test: 1200
Mathematical Aptitude Test: 1200
Total value: 2400
Assessment of aptitudes and skills of mathematical reasoning and verbal aptitude.
Requirements and Results for Entrance Exam
Applicants and their representatives will receive the test results via email up to two weeks after taking the Entrance Exam.
*Once the Admission Exam has been passed with the required grades, the Undergraduate Dean is the person who will evaluate the subjects that can be validated, taking into account that you cannot validate subjects with a grade lower than 80/100 and third and fourth year subjects. Furthermore, the approved subjects cannot constitute more than 50% of the degree.
*Students who have left their studies unfinished for more than (5) five years, if they wish to pick their studies back up, must undergo the regular admissions process to the University in accordance with the provisions of the Academic Regime Regulations.
