Professional Profile

César Zambrano earned his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Purdue University (United States). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Maryville College (United States). He currently serves as the Dean of Research at the University of San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador) and has previously held positions as Vice Dean and Dean of the College of Science and Engineering. He is a member of the Research Committee and coordinates the Archimedes Scholarship Program. Additionally, he is a professor in the Chemical Engineering program at the College of Science and Engineering. His academic and research work is focused on the field of Supramolecular Chemistry, organic synthesis of molecular capsule precursors, and organometallic and coordination polymers. He is the founder of the scientific journal "Advances in Sciences and Engineering" and has experience in areas such as computational and organometallic chemistry.
