Eduardo Alba

Eduardo Alba, with a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from the Institute of Cybernetics, Mathematics, and Physics (Cuba) and a Master's degree in Physical-Mathematical Sciences from the National University of Kharkiv (Ukraine), currently holds the position of Dean of the College of Sciences and Engineering at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). His research is concentrated on Test Theory, involving the development of innovative algorithms and exploring connections with Hypergraph Theory. Additionally, he works on extensions and applications of this theory in variable selection and pattern recognition problems. Dr. Alba leads research projects and undergraduate theses and co-authors publications in scientific journals.
