The Digital Animation subspecialization allows the student to know the bases of 2D and 3D animation, to understand how to create animated characters and generate their respective movements. The subspecialization offers the basic and technical principles of creating animated characters. It is aimed at all USFQ students with an interest in cartoons or storytelling, and is very useful for filmmakers

This subspecialization is intended for all USFQ students and offers students from other majors who are interested in the Visual Arts the opportunity to experiment with different disciplines of artistic practice, its visual arts application and reflection within the context of contemporary art. Students must take 1 compulsory theoretical subject, creation lab 1, and 3 optional workshops; altogether 5 subjects.

The Dance subspecialization is open to all USFQ students and introduces the student to the body practices of a dancer, a practice that includes technical, creative, improvisational, and compositional work in dance, as well as an understanding of contemporary concepts that guide the current thought of this art.
