Applicant Profile

The student profile will consist of third-level degree professionals in the specific field detailed by the program, seeking to enhance their business skills for the creation and/or management of Food and Beverage businesses. Applicants must hold a third-level degree title duly registered by the governing body for public higher education policy (SENESCYT) and meet the admission process established by the program (applies to both national and international applicants).

  • We accept all national and international cards.
  • You can defer payments with cards issued by: Diners Club, Banco Guayaquil, Banco Pichincha, Banco Bolivariano, Banco Produbanco, and Banco del Austro.
  • For semester or academic period payments, you can defer up to 6 months interest-free.
  • This program has 3 (three) academic periods, so the total program cost can be paid in 3 (three) equal installments, each of which can be deferred up to 6 months interest-free. Payment dates coincide with the start of each academic period (verify dates in the program's Academic Calendar).
  • For annual payments, you can defer up to 12 months interest-free.

Scholarships:

According to the Scholarship Guidelines of the program, 2 partial scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:

·      The first corresponds to the score obtained in the admission process based on academic criteria. That is, 50% scholarship on the tuition fees for the best applicant during the admission process.

·      The second corresponds to the financial analysis of the candidate and the social criteria determined during the admission process. That is, 25% scholarship on the tuition fees for the applicant who requests financial support or belongs to vulnerable populations.

Requirements

Basic Requirements

To enroll in the program, the applicant must submit the following documentation in digital format to Santiago Tapia's email address stapia@usfq.edu.ec

If any requirement is missing, the applicant will not be able to participate in the process:

  • Confirmation of payment made through the system (screenshot) and complete application request, signed and with a photograph of the applicant (check the process at Postgraduate Admissions).
  • Diplomas from third-level education registered at SENESCYT.
  • Registration of the diploma at SENESCYT (applies to national and foreign universities).
  • Knowledge of the English language, equivalent to at least B1 level of the Common European Framework (determined by the USFQ English placement exam or by TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge certificate. Certificates must not be older than two years from the application date).
  • Official transcript of grades.
  • Graduation certificate with grade (except for Alumni USFQ and foreign universities).
  • Copy of identity card or passport.
