Camila Cornejo, a psychologist with a specialization in Educational Psychology from the University San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador) and completed studies at the University of Illinois (USA), serves as the Project Coordinator in the Office of International Programs (OPI) at USFQ. In her capacity, she facilitates and supports the design and progress of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) projects. Camila's diverse areas of interest include community engagement, personal development, education, and leadership. In 2022, she spearheaded the national COIL capacity development program, benefiting over 450 professors and leaders in Ecuador's higher education with a scholarship from the U.S. Embassy in Ecuador. Furthermore, she conducts global training through the Fundamentals of COIL course, aiming to connect internationalization initiatives, community engagement, and research to address real challenges on a national and international scale.
