Karla Baldeón is the Outgoing Student Exchange Coordinator at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador). She began her working life as Non-Academic Programs Coordinator at American Field Service (AFS Ecuador), working on the development of student exchange programs. She participated in Conquito's entrepreneurship workshops, where she obtained a scholarship to participate in their Empretec program, as a prize for the best entrepreneurship project. She collaborated in the area of ​​Logistics and Event Coordination at the Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos for Education, Science and Culture (OEI), which allowed her to cooperate with universities, and public and private organizations for the development of cultural events. She designs stickers and toys for children, for whom she also organizes summer camps. Her area of ​​interest is the recycling of materials, especially polyaluminum, with which she builds tiny toy houses for children.
