Semana de la Libertad 2020
In November, each year, we commemorate another anniversary of a historic event that marked a significant turning point in the defense of freedom. The University of San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) observes this occasion with a series of events that serve as a reminder that the constant vigilance for freedom comes at a price.
In the current situation, it is our responsibility to inform and engage in discussions with our students and the general public about the significance of freedom and the consequences of its loss. Particularly, as we approach the presidential elections, it becomes paramount to uphold the fundamental concept of freedom, an inalienable principle of human existence. That's why in this new edition of the Freedom Week, we have gathered distinguished speakers, each with their expertise, who will provide answers to the following question:
