Minor description

This minor presents the student with a multidisciplinary vision of the historical, political, social and cultural complexity of the Latin American region, and how the region is inserted in the international panorama. To this end, courses will be offered from different areas of knowledge that share the focus of their study in Latin America, such as literature, political science, philosophy, history, sociology, art history and anthropology.

The minor in Latin American Studies is intended for students from all majors at USFQ who wish to deepen their knowledge of the Latin American region. Students will be able to acquire a broad, multidisciplinary understanding of Latin America that will enable them to apply a global perspective in their respective careers.

The minor will be offered to students from all USFQ majors.
