Before the Ceremonies
To participate in the ceremonies, remember that you must have completed your graduation process at the Registrar's Office, academic and administrative areas.
Delivery of Gowns and Invitations
Dates: Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21, 2024
Location: Casa Blanca Theater, Santiago Gangotena Campus, USFQ Cumbayá
Time: 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM
What do you need to pick up this day?
- Gown and Cap
- Two invitations for the Ceremony of Lights
- Two Courtesy Passes for the Commencement Ceremony
- Alumni USFQ Benefits Card
To pick up, you will need:
- Identification Card or Student ID
If you cannot attend to pick up your gown and invitations, you can delegate someone else through an authorization letter, which must be presented along with a copy of your ID and the person picking up.
- Guarantee
- You must deliver the gown guarantee ($250) at the Treasury window, through any of the following options:
- Credit Card: The amount will be frozen from your credit card limit until the gown is returned. Remember that if you do not return the gown on the assigned dates, the charge will be made to your card.
- Cash
- You must deliver the gown guarantee ($250) at the Treasury window, through any of the following options:
Gown Return
You can return the Gown and cap on Monday, July 8, or Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM and from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM) at the Treasury Hall. Once the good condition of the items is verified, the guarantee will be returned.
Remember that gowns will not be accepted outside the established time. In case of not doing so, the guarantee will be charged.
Note: Remember to return them clean (dry cleaned).

EXTRA PASSES
You can buy up to 3 additional passes for the Commencement Ceremony when picking up your gown at the Casa Blanca Theater. The price of each ticket is $45 (taxes and issuance fee included) and you can pay with any credit or debit card.
DINERS CLUB Credit Card
You can apply for a Diners Club credit card thanks to the alliance with Alumni USFQ.
Ceremony of Lights
This ceremony will light up the path towards a future full of knowledge and wisdom. We will enthusiastically celebrate the end of this stage, honoring the memory of our founder Santiago Gangotena González.

Commencement Ceremony
We will celebrate the Fifty-Ninth Commencement Ceremony with an unforgettable event.
You are invited to the Commencement Ceremony. We will divide the colleges and schools into two different schedules, check what time your graduation is.

After each Commencement Ceremony, we invite you to a cocktail at the Da Vinci Academic Plaza where we can enjoy live music from our College of Music and indulge in USFQ Catering.

How can I verify if I am eligible to graduate?
Visit the Registrar's Office until June 7, 2024.
What are the recommended parking lots?
We recommend using the Paseo San Francisco parking lot, private parking lots near USFQ, or the Blue Zone.
Which doors will be open for my entry and that of my guests?
2 entrances will be enabled:
- Main entrance of USFQ, Diego de Robles street.
- Entrance through the pedestrian passage that connects to Paseo San Francisco.
How long will the Ceremony of Lights last?
The Ceremony of Lights will last approximately one hour.
Can I buy additional passes for the Ceremony of Lights?
No, you will have access to only two guests for the Ceremony of Lights.
How long will the Commencement Ceremony last?
Each Commencement Ceremony will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes; afterwards, a cocktail will be offered that will last around 1 hour.
Can I buy additional passes for the Commencement Ceremony?
