MiFood Ecuador - Migración e (In)Seguridad Alimentaria en Ecuador: investigación hacía la acción
Este evento tiene como propósito dar a conocer el proyecto de investigación y vinculación, financiado por el gobierno de Canadá, MiFood Ecuador. Se compartirán los resultados y acciones para responder a la problemática de seguridad alimentaria en la ciudad de Quito, con enfoque en población migrante y refugiada.
Esta iniciativa interdisciplinaria e interseccional fomenta métodos participativos integrando a las perspectivas de la población migrante y refugiada, así como la población local. Se presentarán los diferentes componentes del proyecto y se lanzará la iniciativa del recetario. Esta iniciativa propone un diálogo de saberes para llegar a soluciones sostenibles hacia la seguridad alimentaria en Quito y el Ecuador.

This event aims to raise awareness about the research and outreach project, funded by the government of Canada, MiFood Ecuador. The results and actions to address the food security issues in the city of Quito, with a focus on migrant and refugee populations, will be shared.
This interdisciplinary and intersectional initiative promotes participatory methods by integrating the perspectives of migrant and refugee populations, as well as the local population. The different components of the project will be presented, and the recipe book initiative will be launched. This initiative proposes a dialogue of knowledge to reach sustainable solutions towards food security in Quito and Ecuador.
