Franklin Velasco, an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington. His extensive research portfolio centers around consumer well-being, branding, sustainability, and services marketing. Franklin has successfully published his research in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Public Policy Marketing, Journal of Consumer Affairs, Journal of Small Business Strategy, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Management, and Frontiers in Psychology, among others. Actively engaged in academic communities, he is a member of Transformative Consumer Research (TCR) and the Association of Consumer Research (ACR). Franklin also contributes to scholarly publications as a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Business Research and the International Journal of Communication Research.
