En el evento se inaugurará la Exposición de FotoVoz: Migración e inseguridad alimentaria: narrativas resilientes y memoria pospandemia.  Se presentarán las organizaciones partners que trabajan con migrantes y temas de seguridad alimentaria, se realizar una breve presentación de los resultados del primer año del Proyecto MiFood Quito y se explicará unos proyectos de vinculación planificados para el próximo año, para promover el paso a la acción conjunta en los próximos 5 años del proyecto.  Asistirán el Rector, el embajador de Canadá, jefes de misión de 3 organizaciones ONU:  PMA, OIM, ACNUR , organizaciones locales, universidades locales, productores locales, vice alcaldesa y varias secretarias del Municipio de Quito. MiFood

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of the Canadian government-funded MiFood project and to present the findings of the first year of the study. The event will feature the opening of the FotoVoz Exhibition: Migration and Food Insecurity: Resilient Narratives and Post-Pandemic Memory.  Partner organizations working with migrants and food security issues will be presented, a brief presentation of the results of the first year of the MiFood Quito Project will be made and a few linkage projects planned for next year will be explained, to promote the move to joint action in the next 5 years of the project.  The Rector, the Canadian ambassador, heads of mission of 3 UN organizations: WFP, IOM, UNHCR, local organizations, local universities, local producers, vice mayoress and several secretaries of the Municipality of Quito will be present.
