La conferencia incluirá presentaciones orales breves (30 minutos y 5 minutos de preguntas) y tendrá lugar en persona y en línea sólo para presentaciones orales. The Soft Matter Workshop welcomes leading researchers from around the world to share advances in soft matter. The scientific program for the conference will be provided once we have finalized the final list of participants.

The conference will include short oral presentations (30 minutes and 5 minutes for questions) and will be held in person and online for oral presentations only. The conference will also include an in-person poster session.

  • $50 USD (Classroom or Online)

How to participate

 

  • Participants: Online or face-to-face.
  • Presenter: Oral or Poster. Abstracts will be reviewed by a committee and authors will be notified of approval for poster or oral presentation.

Characteristics of the abstract:

  • Number of words: 400. Typeface and font size: Times New Roman. 12 pts.
  • Abstracts should be 400 words maximum and will be received and categorized in different sessions that will combine presentations by professionals and students.
  • It should be a continuous text (1 paragraph) with elements reflecting introduction, objectives, materials and methods, results and conclusions.

Digital certificate:

  • Certificates for participants and exhibitors will be sent digitally. Co-authors who do not participate to the event will not receive certificates.

Lecture time:

  • Lectures: 30 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions.
  • The best presentations will be awarded considering the following criteria: Quality of the presentation, quality of the speaker, originality of the content, answers to questions.
  • There will be two categories for presentations: novice (recent graduate students or in progress) and professional (with third or fourth level degrees).

Publications:

  • Presenters will be invited to publish their work presented at the workshop in a full paper in the journal Bionatura (Scopus). The special edition of the SMW2023 event will be published in the online journal Bionatura in May 2024 (date reserved).

Bionatura Magazine 

Poster Presentation:

  • Size: 60 x 90 cm, without white border and roll-up. Place the logo of the event and the logo of the institution(s). Must include: authors (identify contact e-mail address), introduction, methodology, results, conclusions, discussion, bibliography and acknowledgements. Each poster presenter should print their poster on an A4 sheet, or smaller, to be handed out to the attendees upon request. Poster sessions will be established by topic.
