							Description of the Minor
												The minor in European studies is based on an interdisciplinary approach that would introduce students to the importance of the European continent and the European Union through an introduction to its society, values, culture, heritage, economy, politics and institutions. The courses are mostly comparative and transnational, but also focus on individual European organizations and countries.
This minor will help students to:
- Develop their knowledge of European cultures, languages and identities.
- Develop their knowledge of business and political contexts in Europe.
- Develop their knowledge of Europe's role in current international relations and world politics.
- Develop their knowledge of contemporary socio-political phenomena in Europe.
Additional information
												Open to all USFQ students from the 3rd semester onwards, English language proficiency is required.
