Professional Profile

Eva Lantsoght obtained her MSc in Civil Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), her MS in Structural Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (United States), and her Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands). Currently, she is a professor of Structural Engineering at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador) and an assistant professor at Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands). Her research focuses on the design and analysis of concrete structures and bridge engineering. With over 145 indexed articles, Eva is a member of various international technical committees and editorial boards. In 2020, she received the Junior Award of IABMAS for her contributions to the field of bridge engineering.
