Day 2
Launch of the Monographic Series "Spheres Vol. 4" and Fair of Community Engagement Projects.
The University of San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) is an institution that, in addition to its core mission of transmitting knowledge and conducting research, recognizes the importance of responding to societal needs. For this reason, community engagement has been an integral part of USFQ's teaching and research activities since its inception, with the aim of promoting local and regional development within the framework of Liberal Arts and professional ethics.
Therefore, we invite you to the launch of Volume 4 of the monographic series "Spheres," which brings together academic articles on community engagement projects carried out by different universities in the country. These texts serve to disseminate recent social projects, understand the depth of the relationships established with the community, the working methodologies, and the approaches from various fields of knowledge.
Following the launch, the fair of community engagement projects will commence. Come and learn about some of the projects led by university professors to transfer academic, scientific, and artistic knowledge to society and make an impact on the country's development.

USFQ, through this program, seeks to create a connection between theory and the reality of Ecuador, enabling students to gain an enriching experience that can be applied to their personal and professional lives.
Through readings, reflections, and various activities in a semi-presential course, students can get to know the reality of their country and develop leadership attitudes, civic awareness, and respect while creating connections with their service activities.
